Thoughts on LOST as of late:
1) I had forgotten there was a time when I thought Sawyer was an interesting character and didn't think all of his storylines/Holloway's acting choices were 100% telegraphed. But I was watching some favorite clips on YouTube and came across this from season 1:
Obviously I'm more invested in Jack and Matthew Fox's awesome manly tears, but Holloway was almost subtle in that scene, and so was the writing. But now Sawyer's the woobie who cares so deeply for the feelings and safety of everyone but himself! *Yawn*
2) I want to avoid spoilers about most things about the show, but if anyone knows any details about the romance aspect of it, spoil me away. Particularly, let me know if they're going to make Juliet dumb enough to be attracted to Sawyer, or if Jack can get his head out of Kate's ass and awaken to the cool, collected blond hottie right in front of him.
3) More Miles, please.
4) ( Read more... )
5) I do hope we get more of crazy bearded Jack. Maybe it's just me, but I'm still not sure why *exactly* he decided they need to go back to the island. I feel like there's a piece missing and I hope they show it.

A bunch of shows I watch are back, and I'm not interested in watching almost any of them. I realized that I forgot to watch the latest episodes of BSG and Ugly Betty and 30 Rock and I haven't missed any of them, I forgot to check to see if there have been new episodes of The Simpsons (there haven't), and I am downloading Lost but I don't want to watch it. I really *do* want to watch it, but I know as soon as I do, I'll get super-excited and hyper and obsess over it and I don't have TIME for that right now! I have to prepare for school! Plus, I just want to watch "Once More, With Feeling" on an endless loop.
I don't think normal people have such anxiety about watching television shows. It honestly feels like a relationship, a really unhealthy one. "Listen, Lost, you're really exciting and sexy and I can't stop thinking about you, but I'm just not ready for that level of commitment." Meanwhile, I'm seeing Buffy on the side, that old ex that I can't get over no matter how much I wish I could.
Okay, I think I'll go to the gym and stop thinking such crazy thoughts.
