Has anyone checked out the Buffy movie trailers on YouTube? Someone edited a bunch of clips together to make it look like a professional movie trailer and they're awesome.

I was originally going to post the piece of dialogue which, as my Spuffy-loving friends would be amused to know, is the most oft-quoted scene in my house:

However, much as I love Buffy and Spike, I think their quotes will be very well-represented on my friends list without my help. So I'm going for an older but goodie, one that never, ever fails to make me laugh out loud:

"TV Moments that Piss You Off." Ahh, what a great place to vent. Already, I have bitched about the clothes fluke, Pacey and Joey's breakup, and Kara Thrace's general assitude.

Let's look at the clothes fluke for a minute. We all know that I hate it. We all know why I hate it. My feelings on this subject are well-documented. There is no need for me to go over this again.

Why do I mention it, then? Well, I feel guilty. I ignored Buffy's eleven-year anniversary on March 10th. I'm not the only negligent one here. None of us posted about Buffy that day.

Think about this. In less than two months, it will be the fifth anniversary of Buffy's season finale.

Five years since BtVS has ceased to be on our television screens, I'm still angry about the clothes fluke. People are still seething over "Into the Woods" and Riley. People still argue about Spuffy vs. B/A. People still argue over favorite seasons, episodes, characters.

It's a damn special show if it can get us all riled up FIVE YEARS after it ended.

I don't think anything else like it will be on our screens ever again.

I thought that was worth mentioning.

sodanyc and I needed another LotR spam. This time, we cast the LotR actors in roles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. This proved to be difficult, as LotR is a male-dominated cast and BtVS is a female-dominated show. But we worked with what we could
